New Office Opening in Bowie, Texas

HOUSTON - Thursday, December 19, 2013
Stark Transportation, Pipeline and Oilfield Services is pleased to announce the opening of our second location in Texas. The Bowie Texas office will be located at: 12829 US Highway 287, North Access Road, Bowie, TX 76230. They are set to open this office in January 2014.

History

Stark Transportation has been in operation since 1995. The company started out offered pigging hot shot services in the pipeline industry. Gerald Stark and his Father joined efforts in 2008 and in 2012, father and son merged their two companies into one. The new company, Stark Transportation and Pipeline Services (Stark), offered pigging equipment delivery and related pipeline pigging services.

Although Stark began as a delivery system for pigging equipment, the company now offers a variety of services that go beyond shipping. From in-field transportation and crane services, to pipeline tracking and data collection, Stark is a turnkey solution for pipeline pigging.

Located in Tomball, Texas, the company now owns and operates a fleet of equipment needed to do its job, including cranes in various sizes, trucks from: 18-wheelers to one-ton pick-ups with trailers and other machinery geared to operate in various terrains across the country. Stark also employs crane operators / Class A Drivers with Tanker endorsements who are committed to helping clients overcome even their biggest challenges from the beginning of a project to its completion.

Since 2008, Stark has earned a reputation of delivering on its promises. Dependability, professionalism and safety are paramount to its success. Stark trucks and in-field equipment can now be found at pipeline sites all across North America. The company will even send employees, on a contract basis, to Alaska. Now much more than a one-man, one-truck operation, Stark pulled together the right people, the right resources and the right vision.

Today

Beginning in January 2014 the Bowie, TX location will allow Stark to expand it's services. They are always finding ways to better service their customers needs and expand their services. This expansion will position them for aggressive growth in 2014. Stark will be providing regional support to: Barnett Shale, Permian Basin and Anadarko Basin in Northern Texas and Oklahoma. The Barnett Shale natural gas field alone is one of the largest natural gas fields in North America and the largest in the state of Texas.

Starks plans to hire locally for various positions; Office administrator, Oilfield Sales, Crane Operators, Class A Drivers and many more as the company grows.

In addition to the Bowie location, Stark will be moving it's Tomball / Houston headquarters to a new building in Waller, Texas conveniently located off of Hwy 290. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2014. The new facility will be on over 15 acres of property allowing room for equipment storage and more space to expand their oil and gas services.
